Is Biden complying with court order to bring back Mexico politics?

President Joe Biden is committing the biggest fraud since Chicago cops teamed up with Al Capone during Prohibition.

Paying lip service to a court order to reinstate the “Stay in Mexico” program to help stem the tide of illegal migration, as thousands of illegal aliens enter the country every day, the Biden plan for implementing Implementing migrant protection protocols will, at best, send single-digit people back across the border into Mexico. It is a complete sham.

Again, Biden’s words should not be believed. The actions of the administration reveal what is really going on. When it comes to migrant protection protocols, Biden and company are thumbing their noses at the judge, the law, and all Americans.

Believe it or not, Congress first enacted the protocols – commonly referred to as the “Remain in Mexico” policy – in 1996 legislation. Former President Donald Trump, however, was the first president to take the initiative seriously. This is because he inherited a serious problem created by the Flores Settlement Agreement, a judicial decree that arbitrarily limited the detention of unaccompanied minors and immigrant families who illegally entered our borders.

Rather than try to close the loophole created by the executive order, the Obama administration simply did an about-face, implementing the practice of “capture and release,” allowing illegal aliens to enter the country, knowing that they would never comply with a lawful deportation order after their immigration decision was completed.

Trump has acknowledged that “catch and release” is eroding the integrity of our country’s immigration system, hampering effective border security, and creating a magnet that further incentivizes illegal migration. The Migrant Protection Protocols were established to fill this gap by returning illegal cross-border commuters to Mexico while they process their application for asylum and entry into the United States.

Many illegal aliens who signed up for migrant protection protocols made their own way home, while hundreds of thousands were deterred from trying because they knew they had no application valid asylum. By any measure, the migrant protection protocols have been a success.

The program was designed primarily to address the historic flow of illegal alien families from northern triangle countries who exploited loopholes that former President Barack Obama failed to fill. Biden ordered an immediate halt to migrant protection protocols upon taking office. To this day, he has amazed US governors that he doesn’t understand why there is illegal flooding on the border.

Some states have sued the administration, arguing they were directly and negatively impacted by Biden’s shutdown of this effective immigration enforcement tool. The U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas decided with the states and ordered the Biden administration to reinstate “good faith” migrant protection protocols. Because the judge rightly doubted the administration’s willingness to comply with the reinstatement order, the judge ordered him to submit periodic reports to the court.

Of course, the administration has done everything to slow the reinstatement of migrant protection protocols, taking nearly six months to restart the program and only in one of the nine sectors along the southwest border. As expected, the numbers are laughable.

Under Trump, with far fewer border crossings, the Department of Homeland Security was turning away hundreds of people a day. Biden, with the most illegal aliens crossing the border in modern history, is doing anything but.

“Not only are they registering in small numbers (less than 300 in December with a backdrop of 178,000 encounters), but not a single family was registered,” said Mark Morgan, who helped manage this program. under Trump. “They were all single adults. And to make matters even more ridiculous, the single adults came from countries other than the Northern Triangle countries. It’s a complete joke.

According to a well-informed source within the federal immigration court system, each of the judges handling asylum applications was conducting 400 or more hearings a day under Trump. Today, the administration plans four hearings a day, for the entire border. Mexico has agreed to bring back three Mexican citizens per day. This is the total sum.

And it’s not just the low number of registrants, it’s the demographics they enroll. Migrant protection protocols have been designed to deal effectively with family units. The Biden administration has instead placed single adults under migrant protection protocols — people who should and can be easily deported.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said the department would comply with the order, while simultaneously saying the administration would continue its efforts to immediately cancel the program and overturn the court’s decision. This is far from “good faith” and does nothing to stem the flow of illegal immigration or to combat the cartels’ continued exploitation of loopholes in our immigration system.

This is not only bad policy, it destroys the credibility of the department. Every time Mayorkas goes to the border, he tweets that he is dedicated to providing officers with the resources they deserve. Yet when they call for policy change and restore policies that work, like migrant protection protocols, he looks the other way and does nothing.

Defying the courts, Biden and Mayorkas turn the security department into the insecurity department. It would be like the cops selling liquor for Capone. The Americas should be completely outraged. Mayorkas should be forced to resign or be removed. Biden should be held accountable.
